Where do you stop with the batter ingredients? Do you sauté the onion and mushroom and mix in with the batter?

Djklatch, thanks! The "pepper to taste" is the last batter ingredient. I'll adjust the recipe to be clearer. I don't sauté the veggies, but I guess that's personal preference. Thanks again!
