What I found is you have to be careful not to scorch the meat on the last step or cook it to much on the 1st step.I found thus recpie to have a great taste

The lower temp on the last cook step is key. What can ruin the meat is....scorching the coke and milk onvthe last cook step.

One more comment....After the 1st cook step all you need is a nice gentle simmer for the remianing cook time....if you scorch the orange the cinnimon or the coke or milk you will ruin this dish.

I really didn't like this at all, it was way to sweet for me and my family. I tried to mask the sweet with green chili sauce didn't work. Tried red sauce that didn't work either. What did work, I gave it to my neighbor for her family's dinner..

don't use the sweetened condensed milk and that'll solve your problem.

i have no idea what i did wrong. followed the instructions exactly and they were straight black before i was halfway done. used a fry thermometer to make sure heat was correct.

@cook_14397911 Real bummer. It's been a while since I've been on here. I'll be cooking this recipe tomorrow evening and will post pics.
