We combine the tradition from my family with homemade bean soup with my wife's Filipino tradition of Pancit with long noodles for long life.

Happy New Year, Bill! That sounds like a delicious combination! I also had bean soup last night but no luck on the pancit. We have a few Filipino markets here, though, so maybe in my near future!
