I agree finding a decent vegan cheese isn't that easy, but have you tried the brands Violife and Bute Island? I especially like Violife's prosociano (parmesan) and Bute Island's mature cheddar sheese slices!

I like Violife original and cheddar-style in cheese sauces etc, but I’ve yet to find one I can eat and properly enjoy on its own. I’ve not tried Bute island, or the Violife Parmesan though, so clearly I have some scientific-type cheese testing to do 😋

I see... yes, a lot of them have this buttery texture that doesn't make them too appetizing on their own. Anyways, I wish you a successful journey on the search of the perfect vegan cheese! 😆
