If you dont have double cream. You can use a thick plain yogurt Greek yougurt would be good.but you cant add the yogurt to the hot sugar and butter addbwhen its cooled down a little. Hope this helps you x

Heat 100 grams of dark brown sugar, 60 grams of butter and 250 millilitres of double cream (heavy cream) in a heavy based saucepan until the butter has melted and the sauce begun to boil. Take off the heat and leave to cool. That makes alot. If you want just a cup full halve the ingredients i gave you 😀😁😁you can drizzle it on sandwich cakes but really lovely over Bananas. Banoffee dessert 💖
