KFC Coleslaw

Sounds great but you forgot one thing, onions. KFC puts onions in their cole slaw. Having worked at KFC and Brown's, I remember this was the only difference between them.

First time making coleslaw, follow the instructions and it turned out amazing. Family loved it.

Very good. I cut the sugar in half the second time as the first time was way too sweet. very darn.close to KFC. yum

It was a bit watery, I would put less milk. I added more salt and pepper which was a nice contrast to the sweetness. Overall not too bad.

I used 1/4 cup of sour cream instead of butter milk. Turned out fantastic. Thanks for the recipe!!

Made this for a fish fry, was very good. As close to KFC as I've found. Would be great on a Memphis style pulled pork sandwich.

I have used a copy Kat recipe for KFC for years and the ingredient that helps nail the taste is Tarragon vinegar.

I used a bag of cabbage, lessened the amount of sugar and used sour cream instead of buttermilk. Turned out delicious.

I usually don't like coleslaw but this by far is the best coleslaw I've ever eaten..my boyfriend and his brother also agreed and are it all up...I use evaporated milk instead and added a Little miricale whip with mayo. (L)

Can use 2 scoops of sour cream and maybe like 4 tbspoons of water and mix it. For the replacement of buttermilk
