Another one of your intriguing spicy pickling recipes! I have no way of comparing the right level of spicyness. Would the red chili be the level of Kashmiri peppers?

@HobbyHorseman thank you. No, it's a bit more. Actually much more than the Kashmiri Chillies which are way too subtle and sweeter compared to the one I have used. 😊

I do have the fresh green mangos, the peanut oil, the spices, and the ceramic pickling jar. I can order most dried red chili peppers on line.

@HobbyHorseman yes of course. Go ahead. No need of too much of chilli if you are not comfortable. It's absolutely yummy even if it's a bit mild. Trust me. You would still love it. 👍

Thank you for your prompt reply. What exactly are the peppers you prefer? Are they dried or fresh? I have used the Scoville Scale before. It has a value of spicyness for most of the worlds’s peppers. Maybe your peppers are on it!

@HobbyHorseman I have used dry peppers only and these are called the Guntur Chillies. I don't know whether you can get them there. You can also use Bydagi Chillies that are somewhat similar to the Kashmiri Chillies.
You are most welcome anytime. And remember to keep the measurements exact. That's it. All the best to you. Iam really glad that you love Indian food and of all, even the Pickle. 👍

Perfect! guntur peppers are 35,000 scoville, same as the cayenne peppers I can get here! Thank you! Ten times hotter than kashmiri peppers.

That's great. Yes. You are right. They are really hot. 😊 Thank you for letting me know as well. Bydagi are not similar to Kashmiri in spice quotient but are mostly preferred for their colour much similar to the Kashmiri Chillies.
