You are more American than me.... :P I never actually had bacon-wrapped meatloaf. I bet it gives it a lot of flavor. When I was a kid, my mom used to make me mix the raw meatloaf mixture with my barehands. I always hated doing that, haha.

I like the squishing! The meatloaf was really tasty, I think the bacon keeps the juices in as well as adds flavour and moisture. I'm definitely going to do it again.

Thanks Joanne made this yesterday. So delicious. Sadly not too much left for our leftovers today! We had ours with Jan's envelope carrots. Such a tasty supper. 👍🏻 See photo - I think I could of made more effort shaping my loaf! 😂 😎😘
