Please read my recipe again, the flavours of jello PUDDING I show are completely vegan. They are not the gelatin desserts, its a brand name
Eva Markiw @cook_4526167
Hi Vicky, regarding making pudding with Jello Instant Pudding, you say it can be made with Almond Milk, as long as you use only half the liquid called for on the back of the Jello Pudding box. Eva

Vicky@Jacks Free-From Cookbook @allergyfriendlycook
Exactly. Add half what it says so likely 1 cup, then whisk in more as you need it to bring it to desired consistency

darn need for cook and serve sugar free should I try I? microwave ?

Vicky@Jacks Free-From Cookbook @allergyfriendlycook
I have a homemade pudding mix posted that needs cooked.

Vicky@Jacks Free-From Cookbook @allergyfriendlycook
Just search Vickys Vanilla Pudding Mix and use sweetener in place of the sugar I add

Vicky@Jacks Free-From Cookbook @allergyfriendlycook
Nope. These are puddings, not jellos. Cornstarch is the main ingredient

Courtney @cook_7379782
Very good to know. I think i always assumed because they were jello brand, they were gelatin. Thanks for this!

This works perfectly! It makes sense when you think about it. Wish they would put this on the label. I used Silk Vanilla Protein NutMilk and it is delicious. Thank you!

Jell-o Brand pudding is NOT vegan. None of their products are vegan due to GELATIN being the main ingredient that creates the "pudding ".

Vicky@Jacks Free-From Cookbook @allergyfriendlycook
Jello gelatine isn't vegan but Jello Pudding is made with cornstarch, not gelatin and the pistachio, banana creme, chocolate and vanilla flavors are indeed vegan

Thank you very much for this tried and tested method. We are new to Vegan/Vegetarian. I love my instant pudding.

Becky O'Brien @cook_13372535
Thank you for this recipe! Today I made Banana Split Torte dairy free and gluten free.

Vicky@Jacks Free-From Cookbook @allergyfriendlycook
Yes, just use half as much as inducted on the package then add in more as needed

Sequoia McGinnis @cook_27035783
Thank you for figuring this out and listing here. So excited to have dairy free pudding

Leslie Johnson Altman @altmanknits
THANK YOU!!! I’ve had so many failed puddings. This is fabulous!!!

cook_108152561 @cook_108152561
I was wondering why my pudding wasn't setting. I used 3 cups of rice milk with a large pudding mix (it said 3 cups on the package). I added another package and it looks like it is setting. Wish I had known difference earlier.

Question. My daughter is vegan. Vegan sites state that most sugar in the U.S. is processed with “bone char,” derived from animal bones, so you can’t state with certainty that any product containing sugar is vegan unless the manufacturer attests that the sugar they use isn’t processed that way. So I’m wondering if there’s any way to find out for sure about instant pudding.
