Being a vegetarian, I haven't tried it, but yes you can definitely use it as a sauce for grilled meat/fish, because it's full of flavours, it would compliment the meat/fish. I would reduce the quantity of water to 2 cups, just to give it a thicker consistency. Have a try and please do update me, thanks 😊
