Yeah, had a craving for calamari lately and found some at the grocery store. I had a bunch of ideas from dishes I've made in the past, but couldn't find any of the right ingredients really, so this is what came of it.

I usually use a mortar and pestle, but was in a hurry. So long as your oil is cold, the blender really works just as well. Still, I think you don't get as rick a flavor out of the garlic when you blend.

Thanks Vicky, took me awhile, but I got a good technique down. It's mostly the iphone camera and the aviary app. I've also noticed lately that I almost always use the same angle, just tilted slightly to the lower left of the dish, haha.
