I had never heard of Pineapple Pie until about 4 years ago. My grandpa became rather depressed following my grandma's passing. We begged him to come out for holidays and such but he refused. Then he said he might be willing to come for Pineapple Pie, apparently his mom used to make it. My dad begged me to find a pineapple pie. I couldn't find one ready made and this was the only recipe I could find, so I gave it a shot.Reluctantly, grandpa came over. No one tried the pie before him.He. Absolutely. Loved. It.And so did the rest of us. I've been making it every holiday and get together since.Thank you!
