omg! I'm so happy to see a pudding recipe that doesn't involve instant pudding! I haven't had this in years since I moved overseas. I'm not sure if I can find the nilla wafers.. maybe some kind of other light cookie/shortbread would work okay?

There actually actually some recipes for imitation Nilla Wafer cookies online! If you don't want to go to the trouble, I'm sure a vanilla wafer cookie would work so long as you crumble it. Nilla Wafers soften in the fridge as it cools and if you leave another cookie on top, it may be too hard if whole.

ah yes! Why do I keep forgetting I can just make the cookies myself? :P Thanks for the tips about using different kinds of cookies too! Can't wait to try this
