Excellent recipe. My jam was slightly runny when finished but it tasted terrific.

Cake was good. I didnt really enjoy the jam. But the cake itself tasted good. I'll make it again, but without the jam. And i had to bake it for 65 mins!

I'm so excited to make this! I want to try a dairy-free variation with coconut yogurt and Earth's Balance buttery spread.

I'm a diabetic with heart problems. Can't wait to try this. Any dessert is hard fighting blood sugars issues, but this is so much more heart friendly. Can't wait to try. Thank you for sharing.

loved this! I served this w/ cucumber sandwiches and tea, and treated some friends.

“This cake was very simple to make and it tasted great. I used raspberry jam...very moist and not too sweet :) will make it again.”

very good! im going to try again. mine was not pretty enough to photograph lol.
I used a bundt pan. it took about 50 55 min I used raspberry. next time ill double the jam and a diff pan. also making the layers even is key to a pretty cake :)

really good!!! I didn't have self rising flour, so I used: 2 cups flour, 1 2/3 tsp baking powder, and 2/3 tsp salt. Also, I made cupcakes out of this recipe, and baked for 25 min (makes about 18 cupcakes)

Amazing! This is the first time I've commented on a recipe I've made on this app. I used gluten free flour and added baking powder and salt as well. Super good!

I tried this recipe and made alot of mistakes my loaf pan was a bit bigger than it should hv been and my jam taken straight out of the jar was too thick. my advice would be to put 2 thirds of the mixture in first then soften your jam and spread on top making sure you put only as much as the recipe asks. The taste is delicious wish it didnt flop though will deffinitely try it again.

Wow! This cake was awesome! instead of adding a tsp of vanilla, I did 1/2 tsp vanilla and 1/2 tsp almond extract. it came out soo good! making this for a Christmas party!

did all as instructed, jam sank to bottom, and it looks nothing like the picture.

This one is one of my favorite recipes of this app. I've made several from blueberry jam to dulce de Leche. Thank you so much for this!!! 😍😃
