I know! I was doubtful, but they turned out well! I think the caveat is that you MUST use shelf-stable, pre-packaged potato gnocchi as specified in the recipe. They are relatively firm and already cooked, so they stand up well to high heat without disintegrating or becoming overly gummy. I don’t think homemade potato gnocchi or pre-boiled gnocchi would work in this recipe.

Wow that looks fabulous and I’m certain the flavors were out of the world. I usually make my own gnocchi so hopefully when I make attempt this it will also work. I haven’t seen packaged ones where I live
