Hate to tell you this but you should go to a Cuban restaurant and ask for a Media Noche. Really Spam? Yuk. Clearly you have never had one.

Yes I have had them. Just like a real Cuban sandwich only on softer bread. That's why it's got the number 9 behind it. It was around midnight I made it because I woke up in the middle of the night and remembered I had not taken my meds. So I was a bit hungry so I named it sandwich of the middle of the night 9. I have made many but I couldn't figure out a name half way asleep. So this is what poked out. I agree the authentic midnight sandwich is far superior. This was the name I wanted to write but it was way too long. "A sandwich in the middle of the night to take some medicine with." I hope you can overlook the name.
