I used a package of Knorr brand Spanish Style Rice. It already has been seasoned and flavored.

We dont have that....but i cn u se another substitute seasoning

yes! you can make your own with Mexican based spices like cumin, chili powder and add some tomato paste for the coloring and added flavor

you can also add finely diced red and green bell peppers
