Hey ! Thanks for your interest in the recipe ! 😁You cannot find the baking pan in supermarket I think... Mine comes from a small village in Pyrenees but I guess your can create your own baking pan with wood if you are good at carving 😊. Otherwise I haven't seen homemade spike cake in North of France or somewhere else ... But you can buy the industrial spike cake in supermarket I think 😊

Oh, I will. Might be a bit before I can get access to a wood oven though. Does the cake taste smokey at all? How do you serve it, do you slice it or sorta pull off chunks?

Hey, sorry for the late answer ! You slice it and can serve it with custard or alone :DIt doesn't taste smoke or I don't feel it, to be honest, I have never tried to bake the mixture in the oven... So I cannot really tell you lol
