Hello I'm trying this recipe for the first time. I'm s little confused can you please let me know if I'm suppose to mix the cake mix with the ingredients on the box and them add 3 more eggs, the pudding, a banana and more veg oil??

Hey what I was wondering on receipe u said make cake as directed from box, now I get that now the filling isn't that the icing and does the filling get added to box cake mix or should I make filling n separate bowls filling is when u icing cake the middle of the cake where it will be layered

I dont understand ehat u do with the filling.......after cake is done then do you take the filling and do ehat with it

You need to put some of the filling in between the cakes to stack them then you frost the hole cake with the rest. Hope this helps.

I have been making this for a couple of years now and I just wanted to say this recipe has become a special occasion favorite in my house! SO SO GOOD! We even have named Thanksgiving, Banana Pudding Cake Day! My husband LOVES banana pudding so this definitely hits the spot for him. I will say the ONLY thing I do differently is I double my frosting because I actually FILL my cake as well

What is used to frost this cake? Is it regular frosting, what flavor? Is it cool whip? Also is instant banana pudding used in the cake as well as the filling? I am not a baker nor do I love to cook so I found this recipe was lacking detail. Can anyone clear it up because I really want to try this cake?!

I made this and it was delicious. However the extract was a little heavy for me and left a strange aftertaste. If I only use 1 Tbsp of extract, would I substitute a whole mashed banana or just a half?
