Dear mam, I want to know how this lemon pickle will preserve for a year if we boil it till it cracks a little as it gets in contact with the water?

Hi dear
No it won't get spoiled, you just need to be cautious. Whenever you make this achar, following steps to be followed
1. First and foremost, wash and clean dry the lemons
2. After 3-4 days when you fill it in an air tight container, , you need to wash it with boiling water, dry the container in the sun and then fill the pickle.
3. Whenever you want to eat it, use a clean dry spoon. And again cover the container nicely.
This is how it will last long.
