Apple butter is fairly common in places where a lot of apples are grown, but you don't see the concept applied to other fruits as often. I like it with peaches a lot. Cherries would probably be great if you found some really sweet ones.

Good suggestion Ryan. Hope to try this in winter when we have a fresh supply of apples from the north.

And don't worry about the stones or seeds. They come out when you sieve the mixture.
