Thank you for all your lovely comments, I think I have been one of the people that has been with the apps origins, it was called allthecooks first, but was sold and cookpad took us existing cooks over, we did not mind. First it was a bit hit and miss but now its wonderful

No is like Maureen she is my friend when she first came on allthecooks she was so shy , she only ever communicated with me, until I convinced her that she should post one of her recipe, She has now got over 1000 recipes . I would have more but I am not blessed with much health so I am not always capable.

Yes your recipes look lovely too. I think also it's about experimenting. Sometimes recipes are very simple. I personally like to see people cook their recipes. I dont like to see them just copied out of books of magazines but not having been cooked and photographed.
The nice thing is when I see food then I can imagine it better and I might try it.
Thank you for saying hello today, perhaps we can chat some more tomorrow. It's getting late and I have taken my painkillers so I may nodd of in a short while that sometimes happens . Much love to you and yours. Stay safe. xxx

Hello Sid! Im sorry that you had pain! I wish today you wont have. You know what else i like about your recipes? That im familiar with your ingredients, so i can straight away imagine the taste before i cook it :D

Thank you that is kind, unfortunately I live with it for the rest of my life, but really it's ok some days are better than others, Pain is like husbands sometimes annoying and sometimes surprising with joy, but I always love him. Pain teaches 🤣I try to use simple to find ingredients, I live in little village in England and cant always get what I need. I have to do a hundred mile trip to get what I want for curries for example. I love cooking curries.
Oh if you try cook someone elses food, always let them know how it worked out, take a photo, put it with Comment.Sometimes you want to add your own flair, let people know too. It is how we learn. Say if you make a cake with milk but I would use almond milk which is a lot nuttier. It is always nice to accredit the person you got inspiration

True :D and yes i also struggle to get some ingredients... its impossible to get fresh pandan leaves here for example. Hungary is still a bit backward in exotic ingredients. But i try hard every time. Im planning this malay beef rendang since years, never had all the ingredients at the same time yet. I wish you a painfree day really

I have to travel to Bristol to get same ingredients. Here I might get ghee, matcha or curry powders, you have to live in big city to get what I need . Bristol is nice though has a nice harbour and lovely Christmas markets so i dont mind driving 100 miles. It also has a park and ride bus service so i dont have to look for a carpark in city and i get to spend all day there

Oh nice! Here i live in Budapest, the capital, so if i cant find something in my city, then most probably my whole coutry also doesnt have it. Then i might order from abroad :D

Yes that is always a choice to consider. May be you should strive to have the first supermarket in asian ingredients 🙂😊❤

If you can alway try take step photos it helps people to understand the recipe easier. I write recipe in advance of cooking , then when I cook it I only have to take photos step by step.
I take photos with my camera or phone or tablet ,when I cook . Then I collect the better photos and then I post.
I use to try and write and take photos as I cook, it was a bit hard.
Occasionally my granddaughter comes along and takes photos whilst I cook then we eat together or she cooks and I take photos so that she learns to cook more at ease.

Hungarian food has such depth in flavour, I absolutely love foods from that part of the world. A lot of it is peasant type food it's so delicious. I hope you will post some more of the traditional recipes too . A lot of your foods are similar to Balkan foods all across so it would be lovely to get to see some 🙂🙂❤❤❤❤❤
