Healthy Mushroom Biriyani(protein rich)
Mushroom is rich in protein and helps to build immune system to prevent diseases like cancer, heart disease.Mushroom reduces cholesterol levels in body.Very healthy recipe using mushroom.
Soak basmati rice in water for 10 mins.Heat a pressure cooker and add oil and ghee.Add spices like cinnamon, clove, brinji leaf.Add cashews.Add chopped onions.Add ginger garlic paste, green chillies, pudina leaves, finely chopped tomatoes,salt and saute well for 5 mins. Add chilly powder, biriyani masala powder,chopped mushroom pieces.Add measured water (3 cups of water for 2 cups of basmati rice).when water boiling starts, add soaked basmati rice(2 cups) and stir.Close pressure cooker lid and switch off after 1 whistle.Healthy Mushroom biriyani is ready to serve with cucumber curd raitha.
