First, place water in a pressure cooker, add the potatoes and salt, and cook for 4-5 whistles until the potatoes are boiled. Once done, let them cool and peel off the skins.

Mash all the potatoes. Add red chili powder, garam masala, chaat masala, 2 chopped green chilies, cilantro, and bread crumbs. Mix everything well to make the potato mixture.

Shape the potato mixture into small patties by hand.

Heat a pan or griddle and add oil. Place the patties on it and shallow fry them on both sides until they are crispy and golden brown.

Once the patties are fried, remove them from the pan.

Take 2 potato patties and top them with yogurt, red chili powder, salt, green chutney, tamarind chutney, cumin powder, chaat masala, and plain sev.

Your aloo tikki chaat is ready. Serve hot, ideally with tea.
