Caramel Banana Toast in 5 Minutes

My young son has trouble eating toast, so I sliced it into bite-sized pieces and made this for him.

Mind you don't burn the sugar and butter.
Strong fungicides and preservatives are added to bananas after harvesting, so I always buy organic bananas. They are not so expensive at my local supermarket. Recipe by pogue

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 1 sliceSliced bread
  2. 1Banana
  3. 1handful Nuts (almonds, walnuts, etc.)
  4. 1 tbspButter (or vegetable oil)
  5. 1 tbspRaw cane sugar (or maple syrup)

Cooking Instructions

    Cut the banana into thin rounds, and slice the bread into square bite-sized pieces. But the butter and sugar in the frying pan and turn the heat to medium.

    When the sugar has melted and started to simmer, add the bread, banana and nuts, and shake the pan around so the sugar blends evenly.

    It's done. Top with ice cream and enjoy while piping hot. It contains potassium, vitamins, minerals and dietary fibre, making it perfect for breakfast.

    *If you don't have any maple syrup, just mix 200 ml of beet sugar with 50 ml of water, and dissolve completely over low heat. It will contain lots of oligosaccharide.
