I'm so glad I came across this, thank you for sharing. It was cheap to make and tasted so so good. Added leftover courgette/zucchini I needed to use up as well. Definitely becoming a regular meal!

I am not a fish person and am told I need to eat more fish. I tried this recipe out, using mackerel canned in tomato sauce. I substituted a 1/2 tsp of red wine vinegar for part of the water. Super good. Will definitely make again. Thanks for sharing this.

Thank you, Karl, for trying this recipe. Using the canned mackerel in tomato sauce is a great idea. I always buy mackerel in brine because of the versatility, but for a curry flavoured dish like this one, mackerel in tomato sauce would be perfect. I will try it next time. Thank you for the inspiration.
