I’ve noticed a lot of people specifying Kosher salt in their recipes rather than Himalayan salt, Celtic salt or sea salt and wondering if it’s because of the lack of additives or its flavour.

Yes, I think you’re right. The reasons you listed are partly why people gravitate to kosher salt. I also read that because it’s a chunky salt, it works well for sprinkling, and it also is easier to control the saltiness of the final dish. 👍🏼 I started using more of it within the last year, but my palate is not so refined that I can tell the difference between it and regular table salt.🤪
