Grins…. This one is enammeled cast iron. I used to have a ceramic one, it was better for melting cheeses, but I broke it.

@HobbyHorseman yes I've got a ceramic one with crackled glaze but they are hard to come by nowadays as not been popular since the 70s/80s. The chocolate ones are the wrong shape. I don't know why but everyone had to swirl the fork with the bread on in a figure 8 in the cheese. There was a rule back then that if someone's meat or cheese dropped off the fork into the pot one had to kiss all the ladies at the table or buy the drinks!
