Definitely more like a cake. I suggest using a cookie sheet to get a more brownie like thickness.

Loved this recipe. Definitely cake not a brownie which is what I was looking for. I reduced the recipe to 3 eggs and added some spices as suggested by another review.

This is a cake, not a brownie. But it's delicious! I reccomend making your own icing. It makes it a million times better! Sooooo good

I tried taking 1 egg out and its still a cake... but its a delicious cake! I used 2 cups of fresh pumpkin instead of canned.

I didn't try this yet, but normally to get a brownie "less cake like" you omit some eggs. next time try one less egg and see how it comes out.

My family loved these. I added a little nutmeg to them. They thought it was a nice change but still it looked like a pumpkin cake.

Tried it with only 1 egg, still cake like but tasted great. Will try with less flour next, maybe that might help.
