I love this idea! It was pouring rain last Thursday, my 2nd grade class had to stay in for their breaks. We made a day long project out of your glow stick idea. We painted the inside of a box to create a dark spot, then got some jars, the glow sticks and some spoons. It was a hit. We invited 1st graders in to play us :chihuahua

if you use thin glasses thats better add a water to the glasses abit in one and more in each other you get diffrent sounds from each glass also the light shooting up thats just a camera trick....it sounds quite good and can keep children occupied for a while.
