Sorry to respond to a 10 year thread, but is this recipe in anyway connected to the Creighton's restaurant in Fort Lauderdale? Myself and others have been searching for their recipe since they closed in the late 70's. I remember this apple pie as a child and the accompanying cinnamon sauce served on the side. Fingers crossed!
