For the Crust:
In a food processor, combine the figs and about 2 lbs of the dates until it reaches a cookie dough consistency, then press it into the bottom of your pan. - 2
For the Filling:
Blend 3 apples with about 1 lb of dates with cinnamon and nutmeg and a bit of water until it reaches pie filling consistency. - 3
For the Layers:
Thinly slice the remainder of the apples and then layer them on top of the crust, alternating between slices and filling.
