I served them with sweet and sour green beans. Mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, baked beans, french fries, salad, eat as a slider, with pasta, just about anything. even put them in a soup

In the Netherlands we have frikadellen too, only they're langer and thinner than sausages. Like merquez sausages. And we eat them with ketchup, mayonaise and finely diced onions. We call that a frikadel special. They're only to buy in a snackbar. But i know that in Germany they make them just like you did. Like patties. Funky How one dish's made in many diffrent ways and in many different countries. They taste great though! We have them in fine, very smooth and in one with little piechems of mest inside, just like the ground meat they're made of. Very tasty!
