I know this is "mochi"! what is different between "mochi"and"daifuku"?

The difference is like this.
Mochi is made of mochigome, a short-grain japonica glutinous rice, and it can be pounded into paste and molded into the desired shape. Daifuku is made from this rice paste called mochi. It is a Japanese confection consisting of a small round
mochi stuffed with sweet filing, most commonly anko, sweetened red bean paste made from azuki beans. Daifuku literally means “great luck” in Japanese.
