Finding Keto Friendly recipes to cook for lunch or dinner can get really boring. Trying to stick to your macros can be challenging some times, that’s when i like to spice up my lunch with something for flavorful than the usual veggie and protein with a side of fat.

We all have a certain food that makes us feel nostalgic. A reminder of happiness, safety, and comfort. For me, the pasta sauce or ragú my mom and nonna make is all about my childhood. I think everyone on my side of the family is so familiar with the distinct flavour profile. Even my husband recognizes the pasta sauce instantly.It was also one of the very first things I learnt to cook. Making it now just feels like muscle memory. The fragrance alone brings a smile to my face. What is particularly awesome for me is the small amount of preparation. You pop it all together in the morning and let it simmer and rest for dinner. If you struggle with chronic pain or illness then I would definitely suggest this recipe. Double up if you want to freeze some for a later date as well. It is a great sauce to have on hand. It is so easy and so delicious you can quickly impress guests. Overall ragú is made differently in all areas of Italy but this is how I was taught.
