Put margarine in a bowl add the sugar and mix thoroughly.

Add the eggs then mix.Fold in flour as you continue mixing.

Add the butter milk in small amounts till the batter is thick. Shouldn't be runny.

Pour the batter in your greased pan and put it in the improvised oven and let it bake for 45 minutes under low heat.

For the royal icing;I used one egg white and kenafric icing sugar. Beat the egg white in a clean bowl,add the icing sugar and continue mixing until preferred consistency is reached.At this time you can add a colour of your choice. Add in drops of lemon juice to harden the icing. Use it to cover the cake after it has cooled.
