Take a pan and add granted coconut in it. Dry roast the coconut and keep it aside. And than take another pan and add one cup water in it. Bring it to boil and then add jaggery and it to dissolve. And then mixture start of jaggery to thicken, add in the roasted coconut. Then mix well and bring the flame medium high. And then add cardamom powder and stir. And wait sec and after few sec, turn of the flame and remove and keep the mixture.

Now preparing the dough, add rice flour in a bowl and add one cup water in it. And oil add oil and salt. Stir the mixture well and sure that it is free of lumps. The dough should not b to tight. And then take portion of the dough and with the help of a rolling pin and shape on modak shape on Small cup. And add a spoonful of the coconut jaggery filling and close the edges of the dough by using your hand. And the cover and then stream cook the modaks until done.
