Faraa is a savoury delicacy from Chattisgarh made from boiled rice and rice flour. Both plain and stuffed versions are there. Below is the recipe for plain Faraa.
Steps

Mix the boiled rice, Rice flour, salt with ghee.

Add water in parts and knead to make a smooth dough. Be careful not to make the dough too sticky

Now rub your palms with some ghee and take small part of dough and roll in between your hands to form a finger chip like shape, but not too thin. Make all the Faraa like this.

Boil some water in a steamer, grease the steamer plate and steam the rice Faraa for 10-12 mins.

Now for tadka, heat some oil in a pan, add mustard and cumin seeds and let them sputter. Then add curry leaves.

Add steamed Faraa and saute for 2 mins. Your Faraa is ready to serve

Now, for chutney, put all the ingredients expect lemon in a grinder and make a thick chutney. Drizzle lemon juice from above.

Serve your delicious Faraa with chutney. Your tasty healthy snack is ready.
