Wash the chicken and pat dry. Heat oil in a kadhai add the sliced onions fry till golden brown, add the chicken pieces and stir fry till the colour changes

Add ginger-garlic paste, green chilli paste stir fry for few mins, add haldi powder,red chilli powder, dhania powder, jeera powder, black pepper powder and goda masala and fry for few mins

Then add the tomatoes and salt, cook till the tomatoes are well mashed and mixed with the masala, add hot water according to get thick or thin gravy, when it boils lower the flame and cook till the chicken is tender. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves
