I always make akara that's always oily which makes me prefer buying to making it my self.
All thanks to Aunty Nana and fellow Cook pad authors who gave me different ideas to try.
This method is the one I prefer most because your akara will be like you didn't even use oil to fry due to lack of its oiliness.

Steps

Combine all ingredients apart from last three and blend into a smooth consistency. Pour into a bowl and beat very well for 5 mins. Add the remaining ingredients and beat again

Heat oil. Using a scoop or spoon, gently scoop in the mixture into heated oil. Allow to brown on both side. Drain and serve.

Can be served with yaji, bread, pap, gruel or fried yam etc
