Steps
- 1
In a pan add 1 tbsp of oil and add garlic, saute and add onions, saute well and add carrots.
- 2
Add cabbage, capsicum and mix well, stir on high flame.
- 3
Add soya and chilli sauce and mix well. Add salt and mixed herbs and mix well on high flame.
- 4
Make the stuffing dry or else our momos would tear while filling them. Now our stuffing for vegetable Momos is ready.
- 5
In the maida add salt and warm water and mix well, and knead a not so stiff dough.
- 6
Add half tsp of oil and knead it well, cover and keep for 1/2 hour.
- 7
Take a portion and roll on your work place, to make a big round, with a round cutter cut them into round shapes, and remove the extra dough from the sides.
- 8
Add a tsp of filling and first sitck the sides and can give desired shapes.
- 9
Keep all of them ready first and them steam in a steamer for 8-10 minutes. I have used cabbage leaves on the base in the steamer.
- 10
Apply oil in between so that there is a shine on the momos and they do not dry while steaming.
- 11
Serve with any spicy dip.
