Steps
- 1
Soak the rice until you prepare the Palak Paneer
- 2
For Palak Paneer, take palak, 1tsb salt in a pot, add water and set to boil for 3/4 minutes. Deep fry the Paneer cubes.
- 3
In a pan, add Mustard oil, cumin seeds, onions, ginger garlic paste and mix well, fry till the onions are slightly brown. Add palak (water strained out) and fry for some 2/3 minutes. Add the spices (turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala), mix well and cook for 2/3 minutes.
- 4
Take all the materials from the pan and grind them to a thick paste in grinder. Add water if needed.
- 5
Cook the paste for 2/3 minutes, add water, let it come to a boil, add paneer, cook covered for some 2/3 minutes and Palak Paneer is ready. 😇
- 6
For fried rice, boil the rice (with 1 table spoon of vegetable oil) until it's 90 percent cooked, then strain out the water immediately and keep the rice in a plate below the fan to cool down nicely. Cook the veggies in a pan, add the salt to taste, and other spices (turmeric powder, Red chilli powder, cumin powder), cook for 2 minutes, add the boiled rice, give a quick mix, garnish with some coriander leaves and done. 😇
