Ingredients

30 minuts &  8 hours (marinated)
3-4 servings
  • 600 gBeef sliced rib eye or sirloin steak
  • 1/2Onion
  • Marinated Ingredients
  • 6 tbspSoy sauce
  • 3 tspSake(White dry wine)
  • 3 tbspSugar
  • 1 tbspSessame oil
  • 1/2Gouchjang
  • 1 tspGrated garlic
  • 1/2 tspGrated ginger
  • 1/2Apple
  • 1/2Onion

Steps

30 minuts &  8 hours (marinated)
  1. 1

    Thinly slice the beef.

  2. 2

    Halve the onion, thinly slice 1/2 of the onion and chop the rest.

  3. 3

    Chop the apple.

  4. 4

    Put onion, apple, garlic, ginger in the food processor and blend until smooth. Put this in a large bowl.

  5. 5

    Add the soy sauce, sake, sugar, sesame oil and gochujang in the same bowl.

  6. 6

    Add beef and onion in the bowl.

  7. 7

    Mix well.

  8. 8

    Keep in the fridge overnight to 24 hours.

  9. 9

    Heat the frying pan over medium-high heat.

  10. 10

    Put sesame oil in the frying pan.

  11. 11

    Place the beef one by one in the pan.

  12. 12

    Cook until golden-brown for 1-2 minutes and then turn over.

  13. 13

    Cook for another 1-2 minutes until both sides are golden-brown.
