Ingredients

  • 1 cupRice flour (roasted)
  • 50 mlWater(add a pinch salt)
  • 50 gmsGrated coconut
  • 3 tbspGulkand
  • 1/2 cupFresh rose petals
  • 1 cupSoaked chenna
  • 1 tspTurmeric powder
  • 1 tbspCoriander powder
  • 1/2 tspChilli powder
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1 tspCoconut oil

    Add salt water into rice powder just mix with finger. Add fresh rose petals & 1tbsp gulkand.In grated coconut add gulkand.

  2. 2

    Take the Puttu maker and first add 1tbsp coconut gulkand mixture then 3tbsp rice powder mixture do the process again and steam it. After 5minutes steam is coming out with a nice some gulabi smell. Gulkanda Puttu is ready. In a kadai add the coconut oil.

    When it heat add coriander powder, turmeric powder, chilli powder & salt. Add boiled chenna and mix well. Chenna is ready.
