Wash Dal nicely.

Now in a cooker add Dal and water.then add salt and Turmeric powder.

Cover with lid and wait 4 whistles.

In a pan add oil and cumin seeds.

Then add onion and green chilli.saute for two minutes.

Now add spices and mix it.

Add tomato and cook for five minutes at medium flame.

Now add tadka into the Dal.mix nicely.

Boil for two minutes.

Dal is ready to serve.
