First of all keep a baking tin ready by placing butter paper

Take all the wet ingredients together in a vessel whisk it properly,adding sugar as well

Now sieve maida, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda together, add this to wet ingredients,

Mix the batter gently in cut and fold method, transfer batter in to baking tin, bake it in preheated oven at 180 degree celcius for 40 to 45 minutes.

Take out, cool the cake completely, cut in to two layers,

Apply sugar syrup to bottom layer,spread whipping cream, keep one more layer, repeat the process again of sugar syrup and whipping cream

Now sprinkle some chocolate shreddings on top of the cake and sides as well, garnish with some cherries and keep it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes..
