Ingredients

  1. For boiling the noodles
  2. 1 pack /150 gm- veg halka noodles
  3. 8-10 cup- water
  4. 1 tsp- salt
  5. 1 tsp- oil
  6. Other ingredients
  7. 4 tbs- oil
  8. 2- clove garlic finely chopped
  9. 1 inch- grated ginger or finely chopped
  10. 1- small onion slices
  11. 1- chopped carrot
  12. 1/4- chopped green capsicum
  13. 1/4- chopped yellow capsicum
  14. 1/4- chopped red capsicum
  15. 2 tbs- sweet corn
  16. 1/2 cup- cabbage shredded
  17. 2 tbs- soy sauce
  18. 2 tbs- vinegar
  19. 2 tbs- chilli garlic sauce
  20. 4 tbs- tomato sauce
  21. 1/2 tsp- black pepper
  22. 1 tsp- salt

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat the water in a large pan. Add salt and oil. Bring it to boil. Once the water comes to boil add hakka noodles. Boil for 2 to 3 minutes.

    Drain off the water from the noodles and pour cold water.
    Drizzle 1 tsp oil in the noodles and mix gently. Keep aside.

  3. 3

    Now heat the 4 tbs oil in a large pan on medium flame. Add onion slices, ginger and garlic. Sauté on high flame.

  4. 4

    Add carrot,green, red and yellow capsicum, corn and cabbage. Stir fry on high flame for 2 to 3 minutes.

  5. 5

    Then add soy sauce, chilli garlic sauce, Vinegar, tomato sauce, black pepper and salt. Stir and fry well.

  6. 6

    Add boiled noodles and mix well. Toss and mix the noodles for 3 to 4 minutes or till it completely cooked.

  7. 7

    Veg hakka noodles is ready to serve.
