Heat a little oil in a skillet. Add whole cumin seeds and green chilies, and let them sizzle. Break the boiled potatoes into pieces and add them to the pan. Add salt and cook for 5 minutes. Add enough water to cover the potatoes and cook on medium heat until the water is reduced by half.

Add red chili powder, dum aloo spice mix, and asafoetida. Stir well.

Turn off the heat, add dried mango powder, cover, and let it sit for 5 minutes. Mix well, garnish with chopped cilantro, and serve.
