Wash rice and dal and drain water completely and keep them aside

Heat oil in a cooker add bay leaf,cardamom,cinnamon, clove and cumin..

Now add onion and saute well...then add green chilli,ginger garlic paste,hing and mix well...

Now add tomato and saute well...soft and mushy..

Then add peas,carrot,capsicum,potato,gobhi and mix well..

Add turmeric powder,red chilli powder,salt,garam masala... Now add washed rice and dal..stir and mix well..

Then add water and Cover the lid of cooker and let it cook till 4 whistles..

Let the steam release..open the lid and stir the khichdi..serve hot
