Ingredients

5 servings
  1. 2 cupmaida
  2. 1/4 teaspoonajwain (carom seeds)
  3. 1 teaspoonsalt
  4. 1/4 teaspoonkalozi seed
  5. 2-3 tablespoonoil or ghee
  6. As neededoil for frying
  7. 1/2 cupwater
  8. to tastesalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Making Dough For Namak Pare

    Sieve the white flour (maida), and salt together.

  2. 2

    Add the ajwain. Mix the carom seeds and kalozi seed with the rest of the sieved flours.

  3. 3

    Add the oil or ghee. Add water and start to knead the dough.

    The dough should not be soft, but firm.

  4. 4

    Making Namak Pare

    Take medium sized balls from the dough and roll in roti shape them on a dusted flour.

  5. 5

    Cut the triangle shaped patterns and deep fry them in hot oil till crisp and light golden browned color.

  6. 6

    Drain them on paper napkins to remove excess oil.

  7. 7

    Once they cool down, then store them in an glass airtight box.

  8. 8

    You can enjoy Namakpara with tea or coffe
